Nineteen years ago, in our back yard,
I had an experience with
timelessness.
I stood out in the back yard at 2318 Martin Rd. in Mogadore,
Ohio and my eyes lifted, awash with tears, to the heavens,
and I begged for help for a small, war-,hunger-, pestilence-,
violence-afflicted green earth, world and society.
"Please. Please. Most of the species on our Earth -- we've exterminated. We've polluted the Earth. We are raping her with nuclear tests.
We are in the throes of Vietnam. Please, please
help us. Please."
I, at age eleven or twelve stood there.
Then, almost twenty light years and years later, I had a
series of experiences that landed me in a hospital to think
things over.
And it caused me to think about the way people just don't
-- think. About the things they do to other people.
That is evident at most levels in our world and society, yet,
I shouldn't be surprised that I am the victim of that now. It could
be much worse, I could have been in Bellevue instead of somewhere
comfortable to think things over, or I could have been in a foreign
country. And now, I am left here, while far above me ... someone
is very far away, and very angry.
